Back to Englefield.

Last night we were back at Englefield to continue with preps for the forthcoming boiler test and steam up. Myself and Stiggy set to cleaning up and painting the top of the boiler, Ben set to re-seating and packing the blow down and shut off taps for the water gauges whilst Fred set to the big end on the Ransomes steam engine, the big end requires a few thou reaming off to take up a bit of play so it had to come to pieces to take the bearing out and back to the workshop for the work to be done. Hopefully this weekend she will be back together and nearly ready for the steam up.
